Learn and Grow

At St Mary’s Catholic School, we’re delighted to offer a free, fun-filled preschool session for children aged from 6 months up to Pre-Kindy enrolment age. Held every Monday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. in our Early Childhood Classroom, the program is led by our wonderful staff member Mrs Hayley Cook, who creates a welcoming and stimulating environment for both children and parents. Each session includes a variety of sensory experiences and activities that support fine and gross motor development, and we always finish with some rhymes, songs, and a story. Some weeks feature exciting themes like dinosaurs, space, or fairy tales, while other weeks offer a mix of open-ended activities that explore multiple ideas. Parents are welcome to come and go as they please, and at the end of each term we celebrate with a special morning tea for families. It’s a fantastic way for young children to begin engaging with the school community in a relaxed and joyful setting. To learn more about this wonderful program, please contact our school office.
