For Parents - School Fees

The School Board sets the school fees in accordance with the Catholic Education Office guidelines. Fee categories are: Tuition, Building Fund and Amenities.

School Tuition Fees

Accounts are sent out at the beginning of each term. Special arrangements may be made with the office for other regular payments.

Fees are made payable to St Mary’s Catholic School and are paid at the school office. Discount on fees apply to siblings, current Health Care Card and Pensioner Concession Card holders, further information can be obtained by contacting the school office.

Tuition Fees


The Board has approved a 2% increase to school fees for 2017. This was the amount recommended by the Catholic Education Office.
It is a smaller increase than in recent years.
An exception is a larger increase to Kindy fees bringing it into line with other Catholic schools and reflecting the increase from 2 to 3 days per week which took place some time ago.


For 2017 the fees will be:


One child:             $1206.00 per year


Two children:        15% discount on second child   ($2331.10)


Three children:     30% discount on third child  ($3075.30)


Four children:       4th child free   


Kindy                     $600 per year

Health Care Card – maximum tuition to be paid by eligible HCC holders is still $230.00.

Building Fund Levy

The Building Fund Levy is charged quarterly, per term, per family and is tax deductible. This fund assists our school to pay the interest on the Loan Repayment for our Undercover area.

Amenities Fee

An Amenities Fee is charged per student per year to cover the costs of squash clinic, school incursions/excursions, swimming lessons, hire of buses etc.
